Art History in the Pub at the Being Human Festival, 20 November, Bristol, Leeds and London
Being Human – Festival of the Humanities 2017
7 – 9pm, Free and open to all
This year the Association for Art History will be participating in the Being Human festival, which runs from 17 – 25 November and will focus around the theme of ‘lost and found’.
We are collaborating with The Open University’s Open Arts Archive to host a special series of Art History in the Pub talks and film screenings as part of the festival. We’ll be bringing the wonders of the museum into the comfort of the pub, giving people an opportunity to learn about objects in local collections and discover more about interesting artefacts within the local community.
These talks and screenings will take place in Bristol, Leeds and London on Monday 20 November, 7-9pm and will be free and open to all.
The venues are:
Bristol: Ironworks Supply Co, 51 Broad St, Bristol, BS1 2EP
Leeds: The Victoria Pub, 28 Great George St, Leeds, LS1 3DL
London: The Rose, 272 New Cross Road, London, SE14 6AA
