Turner and the Whale Symposium, Hull Maritime Museum, 28 October

Registration is now open for the upcoming Turner and the Whale Symposium, 28 October 2017, 10.30-4.45pm, Hull Maritime Museum.

The Symposium coincides with the Turner and the Whale Exhibition at the Hull Maritime Museum.

The day will comprise a number of short position papers from some of the most established scholars in the field alongside a number of exciting new voices, from the fields of marine painting, critical animal studies, interdisciplinary folk art and craft studies, Arctic studies, and British art history.
