There are many ways that you can support what we do and help us shape the future for art history. A quick and easy way is to follow us on social media via Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. You can also attend one of our events which range from free, informal talks like Art History in the Pub, one-day research conferences or professional development events. If you’re keen to share your current research then you may want to consider proposing an academic session paper for the Annual Conference, or submitting an article proposal to our journal, Art History.
You can be a voice for art history by becoming a member. Annual membership is open to anyone with an active interest in or professional commitment to art history. It’s available to individuals and organisations.
If you would like to support the Association for Art History financially you can arrange to leave a legacy in your will. Every legacy left to the organisation will make a vital difference in supporting, promoting and advancing the subject of art history and visual culture. Your contribution will ensure that the professional practice and public understanding of this valuable and important discipline continues to thrive for future generations through the advocacy and campaign work that the Association for Art History delivers with our supporters.
If you already have a will and would like to add us to it, you can do so with the addition of a codicil form instead of rewriting it, speak to your solicitor or bank about this. If you leave us a gift, make sure that you mention our name, the Association for Art History, and our registered charity number: 1154066. Speak to our Chief Executive, Pontus Rosén for further details.
