The Bookfair is open to a range of different exhibitors, including academic publishers,independent publishers, magazines and other educational or cultural organisations and businesses who are keen to engage with those researching or practicing art history.
The Bookfair & Exhibitors is located in the Great Hall (next to registration) at King’s College London, Strand Campus and is free to conference delegates. The Bookfair will be open

The Bookfair is a key part of our Annual Conference, which takes place at different venues throughout the UK. The Bookfair is a perfect occasion for exhibitors to engage directly with delegates who are at the forefront of today’s art history and visual culture.
The Association for Art History’s Annual Conference attracts up to 500 delegates, speakers and publishers, including international keynotes, academics, curators, researchers and postgraduate students.
In addition to being an opportunity to sell books to a specific audience, the Bookfair is a chance for Editors to talk with delegates about publishing research through our ‘meet the editor’ slots, an opportunity to launch new books/ series, or simply a chance to expand networks and contacts.
EXHIBITING AT THE BOOKFAIR 2018
If you would like to attend the Bookfair as an exhibitor, please see details below. The Bookfair will be open to all delegates attending the 2018 Annual Conference.
Exhibition tables (sold out)
These are stand-alone trestle tables (approx 1.8m in length) designed to accommodate 1 rep. They include 1 chair per table. A double table offers twice that of a single. Exhibitors receive lunch and refreshments throughout the conference and can attend Keynote events and Receptions, space permitting. WiFi and electricity supply will be provided. Tablecloths are not included with the table.
• Single exhibition table for 3 days – £259
• Double exhibition table for 3 days – £465
• Single exhibition table for 1 day (Thurs, Fri or Sat)– £100
Should you want more than one person on your table, there is a charge of £100 for each additional person. This is simply to cover the expenses for refreshments, lunch and access to the conference. A different person can ‘man’ the table each day if necessary.
Table share option – If you don’t need much space or are on a tight budget you can table share with another exhibitor. To find out more about this option please email us.
ADVERTISING AT THE CONFERENCE & BOOKFAIR
The conference and Bookfair offer various advertising opportunities. We print 500 copies of the conference programme and request 500 copies for inserts in conference delegate packs.
