About the Summer Schools Programme

Goldsmiths’ Summer Schools are short, sharp tasters, offering academic subject sessions and a chance to explore London. Residential and Day places are available. These Summer Schools are funded through our widening access initiatives at Goldsmiths and as such we strongly encourage applications from students who would be the first in their family to go to university, who are care experienced, estranged students and students with a disability.

Visual Cultures Summer School

Focusing on contemporary themes such as the city, gender, and education you will develop an understanding of how particular materials can and have been mobilised around particular social questions while devising your own plans for an exhibition on campus.

Who are Summer Schools for?

Summer schools are free and open to all 16-18 year olds currently studying in the UK. We encourage students who live outside of London to apply. Students who live in London are also welcome to apply for a residential place as well as a day place. Unfortunately we can’t accept students who live or study outside the UK.

How to Apply

You can submit an online application on the Goldsmiths website.
