Author and former Children’s Laureate Michael Rosen discusses the work of the French novelist and art critic Émile Zola.
They will look at his role as champion of Monet and the Impressionists, his friendship with Cézanne, and his surprising exile in the suburbs of South London from 1898 to 1899, during the Dreyfus affair.
